A long time ago in an internet far, far away, there existed a small but vibrant race of websites known as HP RPGs. These were good websites, bastions of light-hearted fun and creativity who were ever faithful to their talented and beautiful Queen, Joanne. The people were brave, or witty, or loyal, or cunning, and they paid tribute to their queen by building forum upon painstaking forum and offering her their best imaginitive morsels. These were good times, happy times, and the websites of antiquity flourished and grew.

But there was a new breed of websites whose dark and foreboding presence soon began to creep into the avenues and alleys of far, far away like dementor fog, sucking the happiness and vitality away from the good and faithful HP RPGs with their deviant ways. This race called themselves Harry Potter based roleplays, and they littered the world with advertisements written in too-small font with lots of extraneous ;;es and __xx__es, giving people bad eyesight and an uncertain sense of grammar. Soon those faithful to the queen grew very rare and they were forced to retreat to dark and hidden places where their light could not shine so brightly, to the dank and restrictive forest of web journals, the drab moors of MUDs, and even the terrifying underworld of HP chat forums. All hope seemed lost.

There was one site, however, who did not succumb to the power of the HP based RPG. With quiet politeness not unlike that of a certain Hogwarts Headmaster, this website plodded happily along, unperturbed by the growing crowd of malcontents but ever-vigilant in its duties to its queen. Incorruptible in its dedication, it never swayed from its goal: to provide a true HP RPG to those allegiant to Joanne and her tablets, Harry Potter and [His Annual Trials of Life or Death Import]. To this day, this one website stands true. Do you?
