. . . . it's been a year since Alcatraz. The cure has worn off and seeing the chaos and destruction created over it, no one has bothered to try again.
Though the mutant hatred is at a high, the school flourishes. Ororo, now headmistress, has been able to count on the support of the rest of the staff, working as a team to run the school and continue the X Men as the Professor would have wanted.
Hank, Kurt, Logan, and now Piotr, Bobby, and Marie, are all teachers, and X Men alike. Wounds healed, and hearts slowly getting on their way, the loss of their team mates and the Professor still evident, but not as keenly felt.
Rumblings. Of a return, of the Professor.
Dreams haunt the team, but none feel able to discuss it with the others, so all feel isolated.
It's here the story begins, and hopefully, changes.
Are their friends returning to them? Are they going to be able to handle the changes in the school now that a new member of staff has arrived? One that seems ice cold but determined and is oh so capable?
And will they be prepared when the secret branch of the government made now to deal solely with mutants comes knocking on the door of the school?
An open Marvel board, it's not just the X Men that have the government worried and heroes from everywhere will band together to help each other.
